#CampYouTube
As the options for kids summer camps are limited this year due to COVID-19, YouTube is providing some online alternatives by adding a new set of educational resources to help kids maximize their YouTube presence. YouTube has launched a new #CampYouTube initiative to re-create some of the most popular camp experiences via YouTube videos.
Virtual Summer Camps Via YouTube
As stated by YouTube, Google searches for βvirtual summer campsβ are spiking over the past few weeks, and they wanted to help parents structure this new off-way season. Starting today, Camp YouTube will deliver content on the Learn@Home site and YouTube Kids across different summer camp themes categories, such as arts, adventure, sports, STEM, and more. YouTube will be offering over 1,200 videos during this two-week period with content refreshed every weekday through Sunday, July 5. They promise that they have made sure thereβs something for everyone through #CampYouTube
We have spotted currently five learning toolkits on the platform, with more to come. And even if you’re not aiming to be a YouTube creator, it could be worth watching those videos to get a better understanding of the way the virtual summer camp platform works.
