Twitter Voice Tweet Facility Available Now!
Twitter is introducing a new way that will allow users to record voice clips to publish as tweets. The feature is in testing now among a selected group of users on iOS.
Composing ‘voice tweets’ is a new add-on to the many existing ways in which users can communicate on Twitter such as photos, videos, GIFs, and plain text.
When will voice tweet feature be available?

As reported, in the launching stage the feature of voice tweets facility will be made available to a limited group of people on Twitter for iOS but will be rolling out to all iOS users in the coming weeks, with other platforms to follow. Though everyone can’t compose voice tweets now, all will be able to see voice tweets in their feed and listen to them regardless of whether they’re using an iOS, Android, or desktop device.
How to Compose a Voice Tweet?
In order to Compose a voice tweet, you may follow the same steps similar to composing any other type of tweet. First, open the tweet composer and look for the new voice icon which resembles audio wavelengths. Then you can record your audio, with your profile photo on screen and a recording progress bar at the bottom.
As seen in the last screenshot above, audio clips will be displayed in-stream and in tweets with the user’sr profile image in the center of the playback. And when your voice clip reaches 140 seconds, Twitter will hint that “once you reach the time limit for a Tweet, a new voice Tweet starts automatically to create a thread”, so you will be able to put together longer monologues to share with your tweet audience. To listen to a voice tweet you just need to tap the image with the person’s profile photo.
Currently, ‘compose voice tweets’ feature is limited to original tweets only and so it’s not allowed for people to make their voice and publish it as a reply or a retweet with voice comment.
