The mobile phone’s face ID was an incredible idea until Covid-19 hit the world making all wearing face masks, rendering it largely useless.
Apple has come up with a new idea to soften our pain of unlocking the iPhones while wearing face masks.
New reports are circulating regarding new features in the latest developer version of iOS 13.5 that will make it easier to unlock your iPhone without having to remove the protective face masks.
As per the videos released, Apple devices with Face ID will switch over to the backup passcode-entry screen if it detects a face mask. That’s very much helpful to keep people safe by not forcing users to take off their face masks, potentially exposing themselves to the Covid-19 virus.
It’s expected that this new feature will be included in the final version of the software update iOS 13.5 which is expected to land in the coming weeks.
