LinkedIn is releasing new tools to help you put your best foot forward in response to all aspects of the job hunt going virtual due to COVID-19, including the job interview itself.
LinkedIn wants to help candidates stand out to recruiters and prepare for an interview if you’re searching for a job right now. They have accelerated the launch of two new features by testing a new video introduction feature and adding an artificial intelligence AI-powered instant feedback tool that analyzes speech content and patterns to help practice your interview skills.
Two new features to help
LinkedIn started testing video introductions for candidates whereby a hiring manager can request an introduction as part of the recruitment process, and a candidate can respond by either video or written copy. A carefully crafted response can help the job seekers stand out before the official interview process even begins.
LinkedIn has rolled out new interview preparation tools that help candidates to prepare for some of the most common questions that are asked in the screening process, with access to quality videos and tips by experts and hiring managers on how to answer the most common interview questions. Once recorded the practice answers job seekers can get an assessment of your answer delivery with the new AI feedback feature on how many times you’re using filler words, and sensitive phrases to avoid.
