As a result of Facebook’s continuing efforts to be part of e-commerce offerings, finally, the social media giant has announced the launch of ‘Shops’ as a push from the market place affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Today, Facebook has launched ‘Shops’ on both Facebook and Instagram
As Facebook said, any seller irrespective of the size or budget can bring their products from the e-commerce catalog, customize the looks and offer to customers by setting up a single online store on both Facebook and Instagram. Facebook tries to make the process of setting up of the single online store as easier as it could be, in order to maximize the usage of Shops feature.
Facebook added, the rolling out of the ‘Shops’ feature has begun from today and it will continue over the next few months. The company said they have already made available this newly added tool to eligible businesses. Facebook will intimate the page managers regarding the availability of the ‘Shops’ option as and when the tool is available on each region/business.
