Due to the ongoing border issues, the anti-China sentiments have recently grown up in India. Amid the various incidents happening between China and India, a new app called “Remove China Apps” has been released on May 17 by an Indian startup ‘OneTouch AppLabs’ which has become viral and crossed over 1 million downloads, most of them from India.
The app is said to be identifying the apps made in china and help them remove out of your Android smartphones. Within three weeks of release, it has become the number one free app on the Google Play Store in India.
The app is developed with an educational purpose of identifying the origin of apps as it reads on the description. It helps China-made apps detect and uninstall from the Android platform. However, the users report that it is not working with the built-in apps in Chinese phones and it is also not able to detect the apps downloaded from third-party stores.
Some people believe that as it makes conflict with other existing apps in the Play Store, Google might remove from there very soon as per their policy.
