Google Released New App ‘Keen’
Keen is a web and Android app, where you can curate content from the people and the online world. You can make a ‘keen’ similar to a Pinterest board that can be about any topic of your interests. It can be about baking delicious bread at home, interests in birding, or learning typography. Basically, using ‘Keen‘ you can curate the content you love and share your curated collection with other people. In the end, you will be able to see more similar content as recommendations based on what you have saved through Google’s machine learning technologies and Google search algorithms.
Keen to Curate and share
The keen app lets you curate content for yourself or for other people. You will be able to use Keen to build a collection of your best resources on a topic and share it with people having similar interests. You will be able to share the contents either private or public as you own the control of what is shared and who can contribute.
Store what you love and bee Keen on it
The newly launched app from Google, ‘Keen’ is not supposed to be a place like other social media where people spend endless hours browsing. Instead, it’s a place for storing your interests: a place to grow them, share them with your friends, and find more similar things that can help in making this precious life count.
Expand and Explore Keen
For the curated content created in the Keen app, Google Search, and the latest in machine learning will work on the backend to suggest more content related to your interests. As and when you save more items and organize it, you will get more recommendations from the app. Even if you feel you are not an expert on a subject of your interest, you can curate a Keen and save a few interesting things or links that you find helpful.
